How credits work

What a credit buys

Credits are spent per turn: one request to Parkes and every step it takes to finish it. A quick question is a few hundred credits. A month-end review or a proposal drafted from a call is 2,000 to 4,000, because Parkes reads more of your data to do it. 75,000 credits is roughly 30 to 75 turns a month, depending on how much each one carries. Opus, the default model, uses about 40% more credits per turn than Sonnet.

What happens if you run out

On Monthly, extra credits are billed at the rate shown above, up to the budget you select. New tasks pause at your limit. On Annual, there is no monthly limit; if your allocation runs out, you can purchase more. You are never charged automatically beyond your budget.

Where to check your usage

Your credit tracker is always in the sidebar. Admins can see usage by person and by playbook in the usage dashboard, and every task shows the credits it used.
